An executive director role tasked with building internal digital products across the entire bank.

In order to achieve this goal I have built multiple cross functional product teams made up of Product Management, UX Design, Frontend Engineering, API engineering, Data Engineering (incl ML) and Test Engineering. These teams span across Singapore, China and Chennai.

Together we built the "Leap" digital platform (now "Service Workbench" bank-wide standard) which is capable of delivering new products quickly and more cheaply while ensuring a world class user experience (desktop and mobile) as well as interoperability via API.

The transformational products we have delivered on the platform are delighting our colleagues and simplifying the bank in amazing ways. They have also enabled the bank to rapidly digitally transform to meet the challenges posed by the pandemic for our colleagues, head on.

Milestones:

• In early 2018 our first solution was delivered within 3 months from inception reducing on-premise database deployment time from months to seconds.
• Achieved an IRR of over 500% in 2018 based on the cost of capital deployed against efficiencies delivered (Automation / User Experience)
• 12 months after the launch of our homepage in late 2019, all employees (100K+) now use our platform to improve their colleague experience.
• The platform capabilities (SDK and Design System) evolved to cut delivery of each product by almost half in 2019.
• In 2020 the platform now empowers multiple partner teams across the bank to deliver their own products more effectively.
• The platform has proven success bringing together disparate enterprise systems into a cohesive colleague experience and challenging the status quo by raising the bar for vendor products.
